for some reason, i noticed that my FILTER CUTOFF knob now modifies 
an LFO, I think.  

Also all my other quick edit knobs don't seem to be doingf what 
they're suposed to?

Knobs, despite what they say on the front panel, do whatever's
programmed in the preset, specifically the two patchcord pages.  If
you've just installed a sound ROM, their presets might be programmed
for the P2K silkscreen knob labels.  Otherwise, you might be in
programmable knob mode...
