Hi,
I had power supply problems with my MP-7 a while back. Every now and then it
just wouldn't turn on, but if I opened it up to have a look, invariably it
would start working again without me even touching anything. Eventually I
discovered the fault lay in the wires that connect the power supply to the
mainboard. I think there's a loose connection where the wires leaves the
power supply, but it was impossible to open up the power suppy to check
properly. However, I found that if I disconnected the power supply from the
mainboard, twisted the wires around a couple of times and reconnected the
power supply to the mainboard, the problem went away completely. Not the
best solution, but very effective - I haven't had any problems with my MP-7
since.
Hope this helps,
Stu
