Pattern Length ?

2004-10-08 by jaxlore

ok i hope this doesn't sound like too much of newbie duh read the
manual question but i have just finally started jamming on the xl-7,
house and studio are still in disarray after kitchen remodel n various
hurricanes but here goes:

I have a pattern thats 2 bars with some perc etc going on. Ok now i
want to add some pads that have 4 bars. If i changed the pattern
length must I then go in and copy and paste to extend the other tracks
to 4 bar? I have a feeling i'm missing something clue me in please.

There's a feature in there just for you. While your length is 2 bars,
go to the pattern menu and say "Extend Sequence Data to" 4 bars. It
will automatically loop out all your tracks to be the new length.
