are the cd's and software that come with the command stations specific to the models (meaning does each command station have its own file association and therefore it is spefic to it's own cd and software ) ...

The CD that came with my P2500 has the factory installed songs and patterns for the P2500 and the different Command Stations. (Don't ask me where it is, though.) The patterns and songs use presets that are found in the ROMS for each particular E-Mu. Som if you try to play an XL-7 pattern on a P2500, the pattern will look for the XL-7 ROM presets, will not find them, and will nor play properly. It is not a matter of different file associations; it is a matter of which ROMS the patterns use. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "lifeistheformofenergy" <lifeistheformofenergy@y...> wrote:

I have them saved and can burn a cd. Just tell me where to send it. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "steve_the_composer" <smw-mail@p...> wrote: > > The CD that came with my P2500 has the factory installed songs and > patterns for the P2500 and the different Command Stations.
