? XX7 hardware upgraded ?

? XX7 hardware upgraded ?

2005-03-18 by lifeistheformofenergy

Hi everyone - I am curious if anyone here knows whether or not the
XX7 hardware was upgraded in anyways during its lifetime being sold -
(for example better buttons or pads or sensors or anything like
that ) I noticed that the newer models with the newest OS have the "X
mix" "shift" and ext... other labels painted on them that correspond
with the new OS - and it just seems to have a different kind of feel
to it when you push the buttons -

As far as I've seen, only the PX-7 has the OS 2 functions stenciled in on
the panel. The MP-7 and XL-7 never had that. Thanks to my good friends over
at Sharpie, I've managed to get these "labels" permanently inked onto my
XL-7 for the future benefit of all humanity. :D
