You don't have to get an MP7....any command station (XL7 etc...) will do..... to get the MP7 soundbank just buy the mo-phatt rom and fit it in your own CS...to get the MP7 pattern banks....just download them via 'E-Loader' from EMUs website...... or...you could quite easily (with a clever f(r)iend) rig up a laptop to act as the sequencer and buy a sound module version of the command station to house the analogue ROMS....you could use Ableton live.....I haven't done that yet but I hear its a good tool live......having said all that, if you want to be a 'hands on, poke at the rubber dooberrys'type of sequencer programmer(there I go, pigeonholing people again..) then you will need the command station....I just accidentally bought (don't ask...its a crap story) an 'extreme lead synth'from a guy in the states.....ideal for sequencing from your laptop...hhmmmmmactually, I'm starting to think I might have hit on another brilliant idea.....catch ye' later...--- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "martin" <martyj125@...> wrote:

The reason to get an MP7 is because of the awesome purple colour scheme. Thats my only complaint about the XL-7.. such a naff colour :p and IMO, the sequencer aboard the command station series is so nice and easy to use. I'd much rather use that than a computer... :)

This has happen to me also, I have learned if it makes a digital noise you have to turn it off and back on then you have to thin events.

Also I forgot this step.... press the MIDI and ENTER buttons at the same time. This triggers a PANIC message that turns all notes off.
