Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Every time i turn on the xl7 i get echo on everything, i tried looking
through the pdf manual but couldnt find anything, could just be me not
looking in the right place! is there a key combonation you press to
stop all effects? like the home and enter key to stop all channels?
(or is it midi and enter? not sure) well anyway the echo is really
effects my bands live performance! btw im still a noob so sorry! thnks!

there is a master effects control, however you don't need to do any
multiple button pushes, as its one of the entries in the global menu.

just set both the A and B effects to bypass.

I can't actuall recall the exact name as i don't have my xl7 or the
manual with me at the moment..

1st turn off xl7
  2.turn on...
  3. select preset... under the mainLCD... screen..
  4.then select preset on the edit interface,,,
  5.then scroll through the settings/using the cursor buttons ///"for what ever sound/preset/song/pattern ... whatever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!      the synth gives you madddd Controlll... over everything... it sucks you dont have the manual.... you "need" to read the manual in order to understand the module... no doubt...

  or just disable... main effects... or controllers..... or reverb settings on other channels that are playing ...  there are six channels on the machine... works magnificent with a mixer....  remember Layer(1) 's too play a roll on how the machine projects it.s self....

I believe that the effects setting you are changing (someone correct em if I am wrong) is stored as a Multi-setup parameter. 

The XX-7 automatically loads the last user profiles when turned on so it would return to it's old setting if you have not stored it....

Something like: Global->Save Multi
