Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

It seems like the trouble I'm having is with the Preset Patchcords.
I cannot get the FX Sends to do anything at all.
I've tried all different percentages to each FX send in the global
menu and + and - values in the preset patchcord menu's.
Any help would be really appreciated if any of you guys have
successfully used the preset patchcords.

i'm experimenting with patchcords now using a "vox" preset. midia is 
set to filterfreq. but if i take it off of it the freq seems to drop to 
0 and i can't do anything to bring it back up unless i reset the 
destination back to filtfreq. pretty confusing.
