Then i think i will keep both my XL-1 & Mo'Phatt & do hardware 
sequensing with or : the Yamaha one - or
& heh wot do i see here at Akai's : the MPC4000 !!!

Or maybe i wait just a lil' longer untill i finished my new studio - 
actual one 's way too small !!

But then again : i hear too much NEGATIVE things on these 
XX-7's right from the start .
The one in my local store broke down TOO, and these guys 
complained a lot about EMU service ( for the first time )

Yeah the MPC4000 is very sweet, but it's almost 4 times as much as the 
Command Stations.  $4k seems like a lot of money for a sequencer, sampler 
combo.  You could get a fully loaded PC with top end interfaces for that 
much, plus change left over...

& within a year a 50 % price drop as with the Roland  
VP-9000 f.i.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
