do i need to repair a button? pressing it causes a "flam" effect, more 
often than not. there's this technique called debouncing. is this 
related to this issue?

Hmm i would love for my first pad to cause a flam but it never does lol. You might just want to open it and clean the contacts under the pads its a quick 5 min thing and may help your problem.
