Is a very active Yahoo group, with people with a good attitude, willing to help. Moderators are really great. ________________________________ From: J.C. Its been restored since I bugged @creative on twitter a few months back

Definitely agree. With the seeming abandonment by E-mu/Creative of support for documentation, utilities, etc. for these products -- which has apparently still not been restored -- groups like this are even more important, and I've already learned a great deal from reading what others have shared. Thank you!

Matt, Did you ever establish a contact person? There are still a lot of documents missing on the Ensoniq products ... for examples the manuals that went with the expansion boards or the ASR-10 'Tutorial Manual,' etc. DF CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This communication with its contents may contain confidential and/or legally privileged information. Hm, thanks...but I tried this just yesterday since it is how most people would look for the info, and I still got the "sorry, end of life" spiel: Go to www.emu.com (you get redirected to another site), then select "support" At the bottom of the page: "If your product is not listed above, please >click here<" -- which takes you to http://support.creative.com/Products/product_list.aspx?catID=237&CatName=E-MU+%2f+Creative+Professional Select "Musical Instruments/Synths/Command Stations" in the left-hand list, then "XL-7" in the right-hand list. You then get the "sorry, end of life" thing. How did you navigate to the URL you posted? --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, Matt <somatt@...> wrote:

On the bottom of the "Support" page is the link "For non-PC Hardware" to the right of the "If your product is not listed." http://www.creative.com/emu/support/downloads/legacy/ DF CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This communication with its contents may contain confidential and/or legally privileged information. See it now, thanks. Too bad they still have the "no help" page there (and listed before the good one no less). :-) --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, D F Tweedie <bienpegaito@...> wrote:
