non-user dumb questions..

non-user dumb questions..

2002-04-02 by moogulator2000

well i'm searching for a cool live sequencer.. how tight is the xl7's
sequencer (switching patterns..) and how does it behave when
switching (will it play after the current patter has finished? or
switch at the time you set the new pattern?)

2) is it possible to have 2 16-step patterns "chained" or
something like on the electribe (64 steps available..)

3) how about routing them to midi out (any channel/port)..

4)easy to switch between those patterns?

5) anyone on the sync to electribe..

seems: its easy to make some melodies on the
step-sequencer.. I already have something for perfect drum
progging.. bbut how is the length, note number, velo - handling?
fast and liveable? can I switch and change the patterns while
playing?

sorry for my silly questions.. buts I think its best to ask the
USERs ;)

At the end of the current one.

Since you can have 32 bar patterns, you've got a lot more than 64
steps available. You can also 'chain' patterns into songs.

I works fine.

Brainless.

Some people are having trouble with the midi time code, specificly
with those boxes.

I have Electrix Repeater synched to mine with now problems.

Sure. How hard can a step sequencer be made?

You can't change specific tracks within a pattern, if that is what
you are asking.
