First of all, Welcome!!!

Some background:
Creative's E-Mu support pages went down several times like around 8 years ago or so. A couple of dedicated E-Mu fans created some alternatives primarily for manuals, OSes, info, etc.:

Both of those sites have links to other sites with resources you might be interested, including preset [patch] editors, librarians, etc.

Online Resources:
Occasionally, the E-Mu site returned only to disappear again for months. The two sites above have been consistent. Newer sites have come along--some with Really Sexy User Interfaces, some with great instructional content, etc. I have some links in the SynthGearDocs and have a list of others I will be adding.

The WayBackMachine has lots of archival downloads of the E-Mu sites over the years, but as far as I have been able to tell, the website grabs do not lead to the docs. People have started uploading the docs to archive.org, etc. https://encyclotronic.com/ has some docs as well as lots of stuff about electronic music.

-----------------------------------------

Updating OSes:

You can get OS2.0 (and other OSes) at various sites.

MAJOR NEWS:
If you don't have a computer that runs e-Loader, another E-Mu enthusiast has a webmidi-based tool to update the OS.

I have had the tool successfully identify my E-Mu gear under chrome and Opera. I did not update my OSes as I had the most recent, but I took the process all the way though to the next-to-last step.

Another user reported successfully updating the OS on an E-Mu Ultra Sampler.

Again, welcome!

Steve - thanks, again, for the mention of my uploader site.

FWIW, I've personally used it to upgrade at least four of my own synths,
including:

- E6400 Ultra (from 4.62 to 4.70)
- PK-6 (from 1.00 to 1.02)
- P2000 (from 1.2x to 2.26)
- Mo'Phatt (from 1.2x to 2.26)

and I've had reports of successful updates from other users too.

It was on one of the archive sites, quite probably the one run by smw
(http://www.e-univercity.com/SynthGearDocs/)

There's rumours of a 1.07 release, but I've never found it, and nor has smw.

You should be able to use my website to perform the update - it's how I
did it :)

I didn't post the PK OS update because I hadn't tested it myself (no PK). However, I just found where I got it from: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/p2k/files . If Ray's site successfully updated your PK, you don't need that dll, but since I just stumbled onto it, I wanted to post the link.

As for the mythical 1.07 dll, just a guess, but I think that is a rumor that got started by a typo or something. I don't recall anyone saying they ever had it. If I am wrong and I spot it, I will be happy to stand corrected.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
