Getting midi tempo echo'ed

Any way I can set the XL7 to external and then get it to retransmit
Start/Stop/Tempo to the other port?

Soft Thru (Merge Midi In To Out), but that'll echo everything.

Oooh actually looks like the Start/Stop is coming through but not the tempo info
(Merge Midi in to out B:On)
