prg changes etc...

prg changes etc...

2002-05-01 by coscon23

i'm still having problems with setting up prg changes etc... this is
what happens;
when i want to enter a prg change AND volume parameter (cntroller #7)
only the last change "sticks"... so at the moment i can either change
the program OR the volume and i want to do both.
this explains also some of my prg changes were mysteriously deleted
last week...
can somebody tell me how to handle this?

also... i tried scott's tip for getting sysex-info for the a2k into
the mp7 (by dlding the mididump via e-loader). this works for getting
the info in the mp7, but when it sends the info, it still
gets "bezerker"... i've set the channel on ext, so it shouldn't be
receiving this info... anyway... i can get around this by avoiding
sysexdumps. the problem above is much more important for me... if i
can't use sysex-dumps i need to be able to send program changes and
volume-parameters at the same time.

How are you trying to insert program changes, vol, etc?

If you're in the list editor, you do know that you have to insert events to
have more than one. Simply changing the status (like prog change, controller
#7) you're only editing the current event. Press repeat to make a new event,
then edit it.
