Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Does anyone else experience this? 
When I am playing back a pattern and I have say , track eleven 
selected which is set externally, controlling my Micro Q,  if I then 
change tracks playback on the ext track ceases until the next set of 
note-ons.  It seems to cut playback out as I pass the ext track in 
the LCD. I know you can avoid it by not doing that but it does not 
seem right.
I appreciate any help!

i\ufffdve the same problems. it is very annoying, since i don\ufffdt know a
workarround for it .
i hope that emu is aware of it and will fix it in the next os release.

btw. i\ufffdm using a \ufffdQ too. i think it\ufffds a good addition to the xl7 ( i use my
xl7 for drums mostly). i you have some money to spent, try a microWave XT. i
like it even more than the \ufffdQ.

btw. i´m using a µQ too. i think it´s a good addition to the xl7 ( i 
use my

Yeah , I really do like my Micro Q,  it just has that sound that you 
can`t get from the emu. My friend has a MicroWave XT and relly likes 
it although I`ll admit I haven`t heard it much. I am now considering 
just using logic instead even though I wanted to use the MP-7 but....

Is your Q responding to program changes well? I am having trouble 
with that as well , at one point it worked but not anymore. I was 
just not quite sure which end the trouble was on?

This is not a bug and will not likely be "fixed" in the next or 
in any new OS update.  You will notice this has been a part of all of 
Emu's modules since the Proteus 1.

     I too agree that its a drag but what can you do?  Hold down the 
sustain pedal on your external gear perhaps.
