More To Add 2xx-7-OS Wishlist

More To Add 2xx-7-OS Wishlist

2002-06-10 by adamhertzano

Hi

could be very nice to be able to backup the preset on the XX-7 just
as u can download and upload sequences...

A save Pattern or preset from -Begin-000 EnD-000 / Bank-a/b/.. will
reduce button strike and would save lots of time .

Also A copy MIX Feature would be awsome so that if i have a VOL+/-PAN
setup which is perfect in a certain pattern from which i want to just
slightly change a value in my mix i wont have to bus my balls
skipping between patterns memorizing vol pan values etc..

Love this purpule Demon!

Massive Respect!!

hi adam

i usally make a multisetup for copying a mix from one pattern to another.
just save the multi on the source pattern , dial up the destination pattern,
load the multisetup and save the pattern again. this works fine if alle
sounds are the same.

>>>After getting your 'perfect mix', save the current mulitsetup, then
call up the pattern you want to apply it to, then reload the multi (so the
vols and pans are updated) and resave the pattern. Easy... <<<

wishes for new OS

* the trigger repeat button now only works during recording which is
stupid since you might wanna jam with it or try out before recording.
* this beats mode is fantastic, but what about uploading your own
rifft through e-loader, in stead of using ripp-off riffs of other
people.
* better translation for uploading and downloading of midi sequences,

* sound editing support through usb

That reminds me of another one:

- The ability to have an input quantize when Triggering Beats Mode parts.
It's next to impossible to manually sync a drum bts preset to your song on
the first press, and I'm a DJ! :)

Also, if I assign a bts Preset for BTS Triggers, how can I keep it from
sounding more than one part when I only press one Trigger channel?
everytime I try and actuivate just the bass drum part on my triggers, like
5 or 6 buttons all light up at once. Once I deselect thema ll, it works
as expected. Still as it is right now, not very good for live use...

Hehehe, of course not, that would be sensible! Actually, not quite sure
what the purpose of that group table is, but the Emu techs log all of our
emails too, so we should be covered that way as far as new feature
requests go.

(when the first lam just isn't good enough)

I hope we are putting all this in the wishlist on groups???

Some of the presets have a cord to BtsBusy with some amount of initial
controller. If you find it and either turn down the appropriate knob
(or lose the pathcord) it should come on only one part at a time.

Sure, but it lets people see what's already on the list. We obviously can't snoop the EMU list
