Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I was going to settle down to another night of practice and 
composing, and make a bunch of midi files showing the various strange 
outputs I get from Logic and the XL-7, but wisely, I decided to 
update my windows machine first, installing Direct X8. From what I 
can gather from the various help sites on the web, and from searching 
the logic users group, this was a apparently a fatal move. So, 
instead, I spent the evening tearing my hair out again, and writing 
nasty emails to emagic support alias ( I wasn't too nasty, since I'm 
praying they can send me a solution that doesn't involve boot disks 
and typing in serial numbers).

Anyway, I got sick of dealing with it, and so I post some pictures of 
my person beast, along with the me, if for no reason but to test the 
camera.
