Best Roms?

Best Roms?

I have $900 to spend on some roms.
I need A good orchestral, a good techno/wierd sound rom, and a rom
with relistic guitars and piano.
Anybody have any clues.....
I'm leaning to these three.
1)Techno synth const. yard
2)Zr76? i think the one with the 'perfect piano'
3)Orchestral vol.I

any thoughts?

i dont know about anyone else, but personally the zr rom sounds kinda corny
and dated......... wishing i got the proteus rom... the piano is a piano,
but its far from "perfect' they lied....

PS. if anyone wants to ZR rom, im willing to trade it...

I own the mp7 but i'm looking 4 much electrics
instrument (dirty guitar, etc), which rom should i
consider
or how do you people dirty ur songs ? ie u got a mthod
?

Effects effects and more effects.

I think there's too much emphasis on the ROM selection when people
talk about sound creation techniques for the E-mu boxes. Synthesis
programming, mixing and effects are at least as important.

What was the original spec? "Dirty guitar" sounds? Hmm. For that
price, you should be able to score a decent Roland digital effects
box. (I happen to like the Roland guitar FX and amp modelling.) If
you're willing to buy second-hand, you could probably afford a couple.
