Contest Recording

Well, there's really no way around that one. Again, I think that people can hear quality writing even if the recording quality is marginal. If someone is really concerned about it, I don't see why they couldn't go to a local music store or something and ask to record the tune into one of their floor PC's. Most sales people are cool about stuff like this, and it wouldn't take too long with either. As for the digital versus analog, I think that considering these are going to ultimately end up as MP3's, the sound difference won't be noticeable. You'd probably get a hotter signal using the analog outs anyway... rEalm Yup, but what about the recording gear? Portastudio? Computer? And then, every gear does not come with digital inputs, not to mention the questionnable quality of most consumer electronics A/D converters... :) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
