Can i put the original Simm of my XL1 in my MP7 ?

Hi guys, just got a MP7 , grrreat machine .. question : don't have the $$$ to buy the extra sound roms right now ,but can i put the original simm (xx MB expansion ROM) of my XL1 in my mp7 ? thanks, marc
