Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,
  Firstly, I just received my XL-7 and have to say it is stunning.  
It is built like a tank and is so intuitive that I was making 
breakbeats in a matter of minutes.  I thought the XL-7 looked like an 
cheap orange toy when I saw the pictures on the net, but this unit 
oozes quality and I was shocked by how sexy it is in real life.  I 
have to say I actually find it more aesthetically pleasing than my 
analogs.
  Secondly, I was looking over the Drummaps from the Emu site, and 
they did not seem to correspond to those in my machine.  I have OS 
1.00 if this matters.  For example, I could not find the 808 or 909 
kit in the drummap, and the drummap contained hardcore 1/2/3 kits 
which are not in my XL-7.  Can someone offer an explanation?

Note that these are instrument maps, not preset maps.  Take a look to see
what instrument(s) that kit is using in the second screen of the preset menu.

PS. you should download 1.01, it's much better than 1.00, though it doesn't
affect the presets.
