Rechannelize Bug?

Rechannelize Bug?

2003-02-01 by Nathan Larson

Hello,

I have a question for anyone using an external keyboard with their XX-7.
The problem I am having is when the rechannelize is set to 'off'. I am
running the midi through to my sampler (track set to ext) but the sound on
the XX-7 still sounds! When I have the XX-7 set to 'rechannelize' it
recognizes the 'ext' settings and doesn't play any internal sounds. Is this
supposed to be this way? If so, I guess I can work around it by just
setting an initialized patch to that track and save it. But if there is
something I am doing wrong, please tell me! Thank you in advance,

Best,
Nathan

That's correct. Rechannelization turns on rechannelization and
"re-portification" but that didn't fit on the screen. =) With
rechannelize off, it's somewhat assumed that you're using the box
mostly as a sound module, and therefore don't want it messing with the
incoming data.
