Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

However, I would like to use the preset patterns.  I looked through 
the FAQ, and wanted to know now is the MP-7 made for me to record 
when I remove and add tracks to my liking, and record it in the 
sequencer.  Is this what it is made for?  If so where in the manual 
do I look on how to do this?

I guess what I don't understand is do I make my patterns first, and 
then bring the patterns into a song, or can I bring the pattern into 
a song, and then modify my track that way I want to ...?
