problems with sends?

problems with sends?

2003-02-20 by nodalterror

i currently have the xx-7 hooked up to a bunch of guitar pedals using
the external sends.. now, i'm using insert cables... the ones where
it's a 1/4 plug that goes out through the tip and comes back into via
the ring... now since most of the pedals i'm using are mono inputs,
does that mean that if i only have one insert going out of each
external sub output (left) that the returning signal will only come
back on the left channel?

Yes you would only get the left channel. One thing you could do is
split the outupt of the pedal into a dual mono and send em back into
the left and the right. The problem is that you would only get the
signal of the left channel coming in on both. I hope i am
understanding you right.

And hope that helps.

Move to quarantaine
