XL-7 patches online?

XL-7 patches online?

2003-02-21 by stackdigital

Does anyone have or know of anywhere on the net that you can share
and/or download patches for the XL-7. I just got mine a couple days ago
and am looking for a bit more of an ambient sound than the
pre-programmed presets have. I enjoy sound design and hopefully will
have some to share too in the not too distant future.

Thanks,

Chris

Try the groups' homepage. Don't know the URL off the top of my head, there's a bunch of patches for download up there. They'll be sys ex files. I'm not quite sure why, but you'll also probably need MIDI OX, it's a play only sequencer that will work when you try to load the new presets.

Hope this helps,

Wesley D.

well it is not alot but there are a few in IBGEEK. It is a group
for sound design aimed mainly at the cord section of emu gear. I
started the group quite a wile ago now and there are about 90
members now. There are not alot of patches but it would be great to
have more of that going on there.

To be totaly honest I dont even know how to load other patches into
the XL, If some one could point me in the right direction i bet i
could figure it out.

Any way the group is listed under links here.

Peace

Mike G.
