Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Not long ago I e-mailed E-mu requesting they make available the XL-1 
factory presets for us XL-7 people. Not to claim sole credit (others 
must have had the same request). Anyway, it looks like they've done 
exactly that. (Big thanks to E-mu, btw!)

I just thought I'd let everybody know.

That makes alot of sense since it's the same module. More 
functionality out of the same box..

So where can we find these? Also will the XL1 arp patterns and 
presets work as well?

Some of the presets are the same, and there are some early versions 
of some of the XL-7 presets (I actually like the XL-1 versions better 
for the most part), but having these available now is like getting a 
couple of free banks of presets (which is exactly what it is!). 

I hope E-mu do the same thing for us Proteus Pop Collection ROM 
owners yearning for some of those awesome Proteus 2000 and 1000 
presets (hint! hint!).

Has any requested that the Planett Phatt presets be
made available for the XL-7?  When I got my Xl-7 card
I was able to find all the base ROM instruments to
recreate the presets I used in my planet phatt songs,
but it is vary tedious since all parameters are not
the same and some of the parameters have different
ranges (0-127, vs 0-99, etc).  There are many great
presets in the planet phatt module, but I only had
enough patience to convert the ones I needed for my songs.
