i dont know about anyone else but im more excited about changing gate in grid mode than i am about X-mix (but it sounds like its going to me funky 2) ... and the looping points in patterns, thats gonna be sweet, now i have no excuse, only hot tracks from now on. can anyone think of anything that the xx-7's dont have that they actually need? i can think of many things that would be very cool. just one example : the possibility to assign a dedicated controller to the knobs in the new grid mode, so that you have a full blown step sequencer. BUT the xx 7 is already very very cool. i´m very glad with the support from emu. no box is perfect, but the xl7 is the one that is nearly perfect for my needs. i hope that emu will send a good press notice to all magazines about the new os. this box definatly deserves some more attention in the press. alexander Am Dienstag, 01.04.03 um 21:07 Uhr schrieb Reuben Clarke:

That was actually on the list with the velocity and gate times. (Check out the wish list on the yahoo groups site.) I have no idea really what's in there though, it doesn't soud like rEalm (our residant FAQ writer extraordinare) has had a chance to go through it all yet. We will see, hopefully soon. Andre

I was planning on cleaning it up once the OS was released, Emu was still adding features in the beta phase, so I didn't want to have to do it twice.
