Is the MP60 sending any Midi note data to the MP-7, or just Midiclock
signal? If they are trying to use the Mp-7 just as a sound module, then
make sure you go into the MIDI menu and set the MP-7 to ignore "External
Song Start/Stop" commands. You may also want to turn off Rechannelize
input, and make sure the tempo is set to 0 (Ext). If you can tell us some
more about what your customer is trying to do with both boxes, it might be
easier for us to see why this isn't working.
Also, is there a midi cable from the MP-7 MIDI out to the MP60 Midi In?
That could be causing a MIDI loop if there is one there currently. One
more thing, if you check in the files section of this group, you'll find
OS 2.0, might want to update the MP-7 with that too.
