Memory Failure

Memory Failure

2003-05-06 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Personally I just cross my fingers and hope for the best. I got the XX-7
specifically so I wouldn't be lugging a laptop around, or else I'd just
use Live. I think it's stable enough you don't have to worry.

Obvious question: has anyone experienced a memory failure (on the XX-
7, not personally)? What are people using for backup on stage (or
elsewhere)? Or is everyone lugging along a laptop?

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm hoping to do as well (I like
Live, but I prefer MIDI).

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
