Hello all... I am considering going from an XL-1 to the XK6 or Vintage Keys Pro and adding the XL Rom. I would like to be able to use the arp patterns and presets from the XL-7. This requires the right ROM ID. What ROM ID do I need to do that? Does the XK-6 come with this ROM ID? Can the XL-7 ROM ID be ordered from EMU as an add on ROM? Thanks, -T

I think the XK-6 has the same Arp patterns as the XL-7, so you shouldn't
need to buy a new ROM. Maybe Emu can clarify?

not1pimp, I emailed you about this, and yes I am somewhat interested. Sean @ EMU, Would the Add-on ROM he has purchased have the same ROM ID? So say I got one of the Orbit ROMs, would I get any arps with it? or would they only come on the orbit unit? You would get the Arps too. BTW, are the Arps different on all of the
roms even? I know that I see a lot of the same arps in my P2500 Rom that
are in the XL-7 ROM. I haven't actually checked yet to see if they are
ALL the same, but I can't imagine Emu making up 300+ new arps for each
rom...
Anyone with multiple ROMs want to take a look real quick?

The newer versions of the ROM's shipped have the arps on them. The base arp patterns are pretty much the same for the Pure Phatt, X- Lead, World Expedition. It's just the actual presets that are different. I will post the forms I put on another group in the files section for the Phatt and Lead ROM's to see the similarities.
