i know that a bank in the xl is simply a msb and lsb vaule which in
the new os can be checked by simply pressing the audition key. page
37 of the manual. does this help ?

--> (2) Multisetup program changes repeat as the pattern loops. So,
if

i must admit that within a pattern i have not yet had a reason to
switch multi setup ...it has only been when going from a pattern to
pattern that i have had reason to do so and YES THERE ARE PROBLEMS .
Stuck notes, weird sounds for the first note. Almost like a morphing
effect if the patch had too long a decay. The decaying sound usually
modulates when i dont want that to happen. So far i have been able to
work arround them by changing my arrangements sightly. Very tedious
work very annoying. I am shure that i will not buy another emu for a
sequencer. I whish i could get my hands on a qy100. I would love to
see how they compete. I think that the emu engineers gave the
mutlisetup for differnt resons and not for the ones that you and i
are trying to use it for. It great when everthing is static. The
processor in the emu is not the best. One has to be so carefull about
how the pattern is arranged. How long the notes are how many
different cont controll changes one does to a patch. I stopped using
it as a sequecer for a couple of weeks and stepped back to the
computer world and i have had much more accomplished. ITs a
wonderfull sound module and sequecer as long as you dont push its
limits and so far i have found that that limit is easy to reach.
