Record you first part. Setup another trackand record another layer or part with the samepatch on the same synth. Layering is such asimple but often forgotten technique that doesn'tjust apply to layering different synths. Youcan layer the same synth as many times asyour heart desires (and your DAW track countallows) :)
I actually did some of this on my first solo CD, playing the minimoog several times by hand.
