That happens with te ones with the stock latest OS.

All you have to do after a tune all is restart the machine with the reset procedure (power on with clear held down I think, or clear and store) and the tone disapears and the tuning is still good.

Not sure if that works with xpanders with aftermarket upgraded OS's.
