Re: [xpantastic] Xpander won't receive patches/banks by SysEx

2008-08-30 by Tony Cappellini

The sysex header for sending a patch to the xpander contains one byte
which indicates the patch number.

However, There is an independant edit buffer which allows you to edit
a patch remotely (and locally to, I think) without affecting any of
the patches
already stored in locations 1-100

This edit buffer allows you to tweak patches, and compare the edit to
the original, when you are inMulti Mode
Oberheim thought of everything and they sure had some great software
engineers who could squeeze out ever bit of capability out of a
1.89Mhz 6809!
(although, I do wish the envelopes were generated in hardware instead
of software)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
