Xpander Cassette Interface

Xpander Cassette Interface

2007-10-16 by envia94

Hi,

I was lucky to get an original Xpander cassette tape with Factory Stock Patches/Volume 1
dated in Jun 19 1984.

But, does anybody know how to load this data in to an Xpander?

Any info would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
Tiitu.

Hi Tiitu!
I think that you have to rec the "digital noise" on that cassette in a wav,
22KHz, 16 bit file. After you
I have some wave files of this kind for my Roland Juno106. With a simple
jack-jack cable and a media player I can load an entire sound bank.

Bye

Thanks guys for the ideas and pictures!

I was considering just to play the tape for the Xpander - hoping it would like that, heh. ... It
must be original no matter how stupid that may be! Isn't that the idea of collecting analog
synths? ... I'm just kidding, ofcourse. In fact the tape did cost me a fortune (no kidding
anymore) not as such, but because it came with The Oberheim of my dreams.

Cheers,
Happy.

What a collection, Steeve! I thought you are in Italy, but it seems the synths are in Sweden. ...
I just came from Gteborg last week with a very, very heavey case stopping unloading
luggage at that part of airport for some 15 minutes.
