This is the new one: 623-4120 (RS code), horizontal, endless encoder with 20
impulses, 20 stops.

I've uploaded some pdf files here:

Bye!

Hello everyone!

I´m a "new" member.

I´d like to know if anyone has replaced their rotary encoders with a
different brand/model than the original succesfully?

The first one to the left on my Matrix-12 is getting grumpy and
doesn´t always want to obey...

I´m afraid that it´s only going to be worse...

So please, if anyone has some info...

/AP

Welcome!

Information/success is pretty sketchy. Short of
replacement, try opening them up and cleaning
them out. I haven't done it yet on my Xpander,
but I have opened and cleaned plenty of pots and
switches on Minimoogs, etc, and been successful.
Good luck!

I've found this rotary encoder: ALPS STEC16B02, a 16mm horizontal encoder,
with 24 detents, 6mm axe...
You can find it in the RS electronics or in the Distrelec catalog. I think
they are the same of the original ones...

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
