Xpander/Matrix-12 Rotary Encoder part#?

2010-07-12 by mirror_saw7778

My Matrix-12 needs a replacement rotary encoder does anyone have a part number so I can order some?

I tried searching through the messages on this group but can't seem to find any part numbers, manufacturer of specifications.

thanks!

would ALPS part # STEC16B04 work to replace the encoders? Looks like they are about $2.50 USD each from Taiwan
