Looks like I also need to buy new switches for my Matrix 12, a few of the buttons are completely dead and attempts to clean them are not working. The little removable rubber membranes inside are damaged (rotted). Does anyone know where I can buy some replacement switches? I checked http://www.vintageplanet.nl/ but he does not seem to have any, nor does ebay.

Thank You! I just received some switches from Doug. Nice and easy transaction! Now all I need is a replacement encoder and I will have a 100% working Matrix-12! --- In xpantastic@yahoogroups.com, "baumont987" <geebeex@...> wrote:

For everyone here in the group: Today, we soldered a sample of: Marquardt Switch 6425.1101 into my Xpander. Its 100% pin and form factor compatible and fits perfectly ! http://www.marquardt-switches.com/tact-and-key-switches.html?&tx_productkatalog_pi1[mode]=detail&tx_productkatalog_pi1[modifier]=0&tx_productkatalog_pi1[value]=6425&tx_productkatalog_pi1[pointer]=1&cHash=15e3636755 The Oberheim switch top covers/caps dont fit (not mounting pin compatible),- so one has to buy switches (no LED) and related top covers in black as well as the numbered ones for the keypad, the + and - as well as the orange one. I germany, youll get everything at Conrad http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/?insert_kz=NA&hk=SEM&WT.srch=1&gclid=CKfIr7OEv6MCFVQq3god63UngA and here http://www.muetron.de/de/ In other countries please look for dealers in your region. good news for me and eventually for yall too PeWe
