[sdiy] Daft question

Hi,

 I have a REALLY daft question..

Im after a midi file that is 8 or 16 bars long that is just one note held
down.
The idea is to load it into cubase V5  and get cubase to send midi clock
along with it.
so I can debug my midi sync of my arpeggiator on the monowave,
sadly my ST is not yet fully operational again (since I moved house),  else
I would've used this.
