[sdiy] Replacement for 741 op amps??

Hello Jonathan

The 1458 is a dual 741 with essentially the same specs. Maybe
you were thinking of the 4558... which is everything you suggested.

I was gonna rip some 4558's out of a preamp circuit at one time...
mistaking them for the 1458. When I finally got the data sheets out...
I put them right back into the circuit, where they remain to this day.
(20 years later...)
