"GothGeek Sysadmin" <xyzzy at sysabend.org> intones:
> At a lab I used to work, we had lines painted on the floor for how far
> you'd get thrown by various voltages... people thought we were weird...
My wife says, upon hearing the above: "I have no comeback" :)
Related note: I've been following the crt discharge thread with some
interest. My 26" TV has a hissing noise on it's audio, and I've been
considering putting a cap on the speaker leads to get rid of it. Any good
suggestions, both as to safety and as to cap values/wiring ideas?
I *definitely* will use a long stick with a resistor wired to it if I open
this puppy up...hehe, my wife has no comeback for that, either!
