YES EXACTLY!!! when i power it up it counts down from 10 - 1 then starts
with the "Piano 1" patch
sometimes it doesn't count down all the way and freezes..or other times it
flickers on and off

HAHAHA - that's what i got from them when i asked for a manual for the JX-8P
(to learn to work it) and from the TR-707 (i wanted to know all the little
things)

and this being the info age, thought someone might have a copy lying around
or some hands on experience with this problem.
