well here is what i want to do exactly, but i don't think i can
do it without software (shudder) what i am trying to get is CV Quatizer
that has probably 16 steps and selectable for any number under those 16
steps, those 16 steps, or however many steps you set, then would set a
scale and that scale would be repeated over the rest of the voltage
range. but that would make the voltage spread of the scale variable and
how manytimes it would be needed to repeated to fill the CV range would
also be variable, this would not work that well for expo VCO unless the
scale was always 1 Volt from top to bottom, which would not be that bad,
but would make microtonal scales kinda hard to get. the only way i can
see of this actualy working without a massive amount of circutry is a
PIC and linear VCOs, which would probably be the best way to go since
then the scales could be saved and it would allow more flexability.
maybe it is time to breakdown and enter the digital world, unless one of
you can save me from that. thanks for the help so far you gave me alot
of good ideas and i can at least get something built to keep me busy
untill i get something abit more powerfull working. i hope this makes
sense.
