With some *very* fine tuning, that circuit can be modded to get some
very convincing 909 emulations..
The really hard attack at the beginning is the tune sweep amount and
decay. I have messed with routing the noise circuit to the tune
modulation, and you can get some really good visions of the 909.
BTW, I hope you tapped off of the BD trigger for the sweep circuit.
You don't need to tap off of the tom trigger. I didn't understand why
anyone would do that, but The Mix printed it that way.... Seems to be
the biggest source of problems.
ie jumper the trigger from the BD straight into the transistor for the
sweep.
