If your are working with audio only then 10 MHz is good enough. If your are
working with digital stuff then you might want something faster, 100 MHz.
Tektronix is the oscilloscope manufacturer that most other oscilloscope
manufacturers compare againt; "Our oscilloscopes are as good as Tektronix."
I have had my Telequipment for more than 25 years. Telequipment was made in
England and marketed by Tektronix in the USA.
Things to look for:
Grid on the screen
DC and AC coupling
Calibrated range switches.
Dual trace, for comparison
Differential mode, for floating signals
External trigger input
Calibration signal
Optional:
Delayed sweep
Z-axis input
Sweep output
Gate output
There must be oscilloscope tutorials on the web or check your local public
library.
