Well I mentioned delay lines, and had actually thought about Karplus-Strong,
even though I didn't mention it on the list. The reason I didn't mention
Karplus-Strong, was that I wasn't sure if it was well suited to drums. After
seeing your post, I suppose it is. In the past, I had only seen Karplus-Strong
mentioned in connection with plucked-string synthesis. Somewhere, I have a
piece of software that implements Karplus-Strong for a plucked string sound.
It's an interesting simulation.

Does anyone have any wave files of Karplus-Strong being used for drums? I'd
really like to hear some samples.
