Hmm...sounds like you are describing the +10V connection to the collector
of Q6 in:

When I checked, I was comparing values from the schematic against the
Mini, but didn't look to see if the actual circuit contained any extra
components not on the schematic.  Thanks - I'll check that when I get home
tonight.
