Hi guys,
I have a recently aquired 808, which I am loving immensely.
There is something that I have a question about though,
The bass drum when at high decay and fast ish speeds has an un even decay
time
for the hits. so it sometimes sounds like it has accent on the kick, and
then other times like it has half the decay setting.
Someone told me that if the circuit is still oscillating when it recieves
the next trigger the decay will be longer if it is caught on the up swing,
and shorter if on the down swing.
So what I'm asking, is other people with 808's is this just part of the
analog goodness or is this machine misbehaving?
thanks
Eduardo
