TRhere is some confusion here.
The modified volume pedal isn't used as a volume pedal.
It sits out there all by itself, with it's 9v battery connected to the
input, and the output plugged into the Frostwave CV input. So the battery
connected to the modified pedal, goes nowhere near anything else. And the
signal chain goes nowhere near the modified volume pedal. Which isn't a
volume pedal any more.
